The e-journal Labour and Management in Development edited by Professor Michael Hess is now publishing it's eighth edition. The journal publishes material from scholars working on issues of work organization in countries undergoing accelerated economic growth and social development. It particularly focuses on making the work on scholars from 'developing' countries available in an international standard English language publication. No 8 is the first edition to be jointly produced from AIRC and Asia Pacific Press at the ANU.
The Australian Innovation Festival has been running since 2002. It is supported by AusIndustry, and the National Press Club (among others). The Festival includes many events, including seminars, exhibitions, trade fairs and workshops aimed at increasing public awareness of innovation in Australia. The Festival is becoming the major national platform to celebrate, promote and enhance the value of Australia's innovation. There are over 500 events held around Australia, with over 400,000 people attending each year.
