The Community Assets Survey (measuring the levels of community strength at the neighbourhood/local level) is in the field in Northern Tasmanian (with a representative sample across all northern LGA's) and is about to commence on the Cradle Coast.

The Area Task Force (Department of Education) is using a modified community assets survey instrument to research risk and protective factors for young people in Northern Tasmania.  Partners in the project include: ABS; Cradle Coast Authority; Northern Tasmania Development and many councils. 

The findings will be utilised by a number of government departments, the community sector and businesses.
