Industry Assets Survey

The purpose of the Industry Assets Survey, led by Professor David Adams, is to identify the extent of industry knowledge at a regional level and to profile and identify industries in Northern Tasmania with a potential for higher levels of innovation and growth.  The industry profile of Northern Tasmania commenced with agribusiness and the study has been completed.  The profile identifies the available data sets for understanding industry sectors, the quality of those data sets, their relevance to understanding innovation, and their utility for key stakeholders in industry sectors. The research also examines other souces of innovation-relevant knowledge that is used by industry and how such knowledge is created and diffused.

The Industry Assets Survey project has now been incorporated into the larger Tasmanian Innovation Strategy project.
