Paul Muller is a Research Associate with the AIRC.  In addition to 15 years senior management experience, Paul has a Masters degree from Southern Cross University in International Sports Management. He has worked in Australia and internationally with a wide range of hospitality and sports businesses, with a particular research interest in challenging institutional assumptions and improving the quality of executive decision-making.

In December 2007, Paul joined the AIRC as a PhD scholar. In partnership with Sport and Recreation Tasmania, he is looking at the economic, social and other previously unconsidered contributions of sport and physical recreation to the state, with a view to developing innovative policy, support and investment strategies for the industry.
